This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to take on a technically challenging role with strong long-term growth potential.
- This position focuses exclusively on civil and structural engineering (not electrical) and offers a steep learning curve with exposure to a wide range of design and construction activities, including civil works related to Building Management Systems (BMS). The role also provides a clear pathway toward project management responsibilities.

Aufgaben
- Serve as the civil/structural specialist during project execution.
- Guide project teams on civil-related matters to maintain technical, financial, and schedule alignment.
- Take ownership of civil and structural design for smaller projects.
- Lead and oversee external civil design companies, ensuring quality and cost-effective results.
- Represent Hitachi as the primary voice toward customers on civil-related topics.
- Review civil-related contract elements and prepare quotations for civil design and works.
- Act as the expert interface between Hitachi, clients, and contractors.
- Manage external civil design partners and handle internal design tasks.
- Support project execution with deep civil/structural engineering knowledge.
- Contribute to developing and improving internal processes and ways of working.
- Work independently, take initiative, and maintain a strong customer-focused approach.
Profil
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in construction/civil engineering
- Experience in civil/structural design or site supervision with a design background. Ideally 5 years from industrial project business.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Danish.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with various project teams, internal/external partners. Ideally, you have:
- Experience from project business
- Civil/Construction design skills
- Understanding of building regulations and building standards.
- Knowledge of construction software, including ideally 3D design tools and building information modelling (BIM)
