Aufgaben

• Define architecture concepts, component requirements, and platform specifications for Timer and Capture/Compare components (incl. GTM and third-party IP)
• Break down stakeholder and system requirements into detailed, architecture-level component specifications
• Drive innovation in Timer and GTM architectures based on industry trends and strategic objectives
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as functional descriptions and architectural specifications
• Collaborate closely with Technical Marketing, Digital Design, Verification, and external IP suppliers to ensure seamless integration
• Ensure quality, performance, compliance, and robustness of Timer IP components across the MCU platform
• Represent Timer architecture topics across cross-functional teams and act as technical leader for Timer subsystem decisions
• Take ownership of architecture topics, proactively push technical concepts, and ensure alignment with overall MCU architecture

Profil

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical field
• Professional experience in microcontroller architecture, digital design, timer subsystems, or semiconductor IP development
• Strong expertise in timer concepts; practical knowledge of GTM (Generic Timer Module) or comparable timer-IP architectures strongly preferred
• Understanding of MCU subsystem architecture and low-level hardware interactions
• Proven experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation in a semiconductor environment
• Strong system-level thinking and ability to handle complex architecture dependencies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, Confident, proactive working style with strong ownership and decision-making
• Experience with third-party IP integration (e.g. GTM)
