Product Sustainability Specialist (parental leave replacement) (m/f/d)

As part of parental leave coverage, we are looking for a sustainability specialist (m/f/d) with a technical focus. The position is limited to 16 months (ideally from 1 March 2026 to 31 July 2027). You will be part of the global sustainability team based at our headquarters in Hamburg.

YOUR TASKS

  • Prepare Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies for components, turbines, and projects
  • Enhance modeling and reporting for Product Carbon Footprints
  • Manage interface topics between Sustainability and Engineering / Service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy
  • Track product sustainability related requirements
  • Support recycling initiatives
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across our value chain
  • Support and contribute to sustainability reporting
  • Participate in industry working groups

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a focus on environmental topics, or a similar field of study
  • Solid knowledge of LCA modeling, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and relevant standards
  • Several years of professional experience in a related field
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Enjoy working in a motivated, collaborative team
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
