• In this key technical position, you will act as the primary customer interface for vehicle-specific adaptations of the Passenger Occupant Detection System (PODS).
• Leveraging your systems engineering background, you will ensure that all deliverables meet customer expectations — from validation and troubleshooting to functional safety and cybersecurity compliance.
• Hybrid Working Model: Remote / Onsite at Customer Locations in the Munich area

Aufgaben

• Serve as the main customer contact for the launch and customization of occupant sensing systems in assigned vehicles.
• Perform deep-dive vehicle systems troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across subsystems.
• Conduct seat-level validation using weight-distribution methods to assess system performance.
• Execute electrical bench testing with prototype and production parts to verify customer requirements.
• Run dynamic vehicle tests, collect diagnostic data, and analyze logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate technical meetings, documentation, and product release activities with internal and external stakeholders.

Profil

• Strong background in systems engineering with experience in automotive environments.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Polarion/DOORS, GES, JIRA, Vector CANoe, PDAQ/Saint, SWIT.
• Familiarity with safety and communication standards (ISO 26262, Cybersecurity, UDS ISO-14229, CAN).
• Skilled in diagnostic methods and structured problem-solving (fault tree, Shainin Red X, 5-Why).
• Fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and seat plants in the Munich area to support troubleshooting and reprogramming activities.
