Aufgaben

• Evaluate and optimize macOS onboarding and deployment processes for new devices
• Install, configure, test, and assess Jamf Setup Manager, Setup Manager HUD, Setup Checklist, Jamf macOS Onboarding, and Jamf Routines
• Evaluate zero-touch, single-touch, technician-led, system-context, and user-context onboarding scenarios
• Define and validate standardized onboarding concepts covering provisioning, user onboarding, guided setup, monitoring, and error analysis
• Validate macOS 27 compatibility and assess impacts on existing configurations, policies, workflows, and application landscapes
• Plan and prepare macOS rollout, migration, pilot, phased deployment, and user communication concepts
• Evaluate, implement, and compare Platform SSO, Declarative Device Management (DDM), authentication methods, and modern macOS management capabilities
• Design, configure, and validate a centralized Microsoft AutoUpdate solution, including MAUCacheAdmin, Nginx, HTTPS/TLS, and Jamf integration
• Assess technical dependencies, risks, limitations, licensing considerations, security requirements, and operational implications
• Develop proof of concepts, documentation, architecture recommendations, and implementation guidance for future production use

Profil

• Strong experience with macOS administration and enterprise macOS environments
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jamf Pro and Jamf-based deployment, onboarding, and device management solutions
• Experience with macOS onboarding, provisioning, enrollment workflows, zero-touch deployment, and Self Service concepts
• Experience evaluating and implementing Jamf Setup Manager, Setup Checklist, Jamf macOS Onboarding, Jamf Routines, Setup Manager HUD, or comparable solutions
• Strong knowledge of Platform SSO, Declarative Device Management (DDM), authentication methods, multi-factor authentication, Touch ID, and Secure Enclave concepts
• Experience with macOS upgrades, compatibility testing, rollout planning, ARM migration strategies, and x86 application compatibility assessments
• Experience with workflow automation, webhooks, monitoring, troubleshooting, enrollment analysis, and error management
• Knowledge of Nginx, MAUCacheAdmin, HTTPS/TLS, DNS, certificate management, Microsoft AutoUpdate, and centralized software distribution concepts
• Experience assessing technical dependencies, risks, limitations, licensing considerations, operational requirements, and production suitability
• Strong documentation, testing, proof-of-concept, evaluation, recommendation, and technical consulting skills
