Aufgaben

• Starting in the early stages of development, you will help develop designs for thermal and fluid-dynamic architectures of mechatronic and optical components, taking performance, timing, and cost into account.
• In this role, you will develop models and methods for system identification and control of thermal systems in microlithography equipment.
• As a systems engineer, you will develop concepts and validate them using simulations (1D/3D), and define tests for design verification and model validation.
• Your work will be carried out in close coordination with interdisciplinary teams consisting of internal and external developers, service providers, and suppliers
• A key component of this role is the creation and coordination of requirements in close contact with all relevant stakeholders, as well as the preparation of development documents
• As part of the industrialization process, another key responsibility is ensuring design verification, manufacturability, and integration capability, as well as risk management.
• Within a mechatronics team, you will represent the topics assigned to you in dealings with development projects and customers. This role is embedded in a development network consisting of customers, external partners in the high-tech industry, and research institutions.

Profil

• An excellent university degree in aerospace engineering, mechatronics, cybernetics, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics, with professional experience in industry and academia
• In-depth knowledge of the theory of numerical modeling, system identification, reduction, and control of thermal systems
• Several years of experience in the thermal and thermoelastic design of components, as well as in the programming and application of CFD, FE, ANSYS, MATLAB, and Python.
• An independent and systematic approach to work, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills
• Enjoyment of working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a highly dynamic environment
• Excellent skills in organizing, communicating, and presenting tasks and work results
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
