Ihre Aufgaben
- As an Application Engineer you will work closely with the Field Sales team to provide technical expertise. You will play an important role in developing Parkers' offer for product and system solutions to industrial, marine, and energy clients. You will work with clients throughout the Nordics and have a focus on Denmark. You will play a central role in the team as the technical expert within areas such as hydraulics, electromechanical or automation. The position is located in Ballerup, Denmark. Furthermore, the main work tasks and key responsibilities of the Application Engineer are:
- Work closely with customers, analyzing their needs to gain an understanding of the application to provide the optimal technical solution for their product
- Initiate new projects, lead prioritized customer activities and be the point of contact for the customer
- Cooperate with account managers and other application engineers and resources to generate growth
- Align customer expectations with Parker capabilities by reviewing requirements and business case information
- Support sales/ customers with technical expertise and documentation around product/system
function and performance - Actively suggest ideas for new products, solutions or services
- Validate solutions together with customers
Ihr Profil
- University degree and work experience within relevant areas such as Hydraulics, Electromechanical, Automation, Pneumatics or Mechatronics
- Great interest within the Industrial, Marine and Energy markets and applications
- Good knowledge of control systems, IoT, digitalization, etc.
- Experience in CAD and systems simulation in conceptual evaluation is a merit
- Ability to think strategically whilst managing practical day to day operating issues
- You are a communicative person that likes working in a team as well as independently with a high degree of responsibility
- You are used to working towards a goal and are an organized person
- You enjoy working with customers and building relationships
- You like to do presentations and are prepared to travel frequently (around 20 days/year)
